Sol-Gel Dip Coating
We are coating flat substrates as well as tubes and small parts with the sol gel dipping method.
Since 1992, we work with the wet-chemical process in different production lines. Large batches will be realized in full automated, robotic controlled production lines, special coatings and small batches will be produced in our small, flexible production line.
This ensures optimum focus on the needs of our customers.
The process has many advantages:
- processing of the coated glasses possible, also hot processing e.g. thermal tempering and bending of coated glass
- the wet-chemical process allows optimum alignment to the desired function by individual adjustment of the coating chemistry
- single or double sided coating possible
- highest surface homogeneity quaranteed
- maximum production flexibility
- flexibility in the glass substrates, e.g. various forms or species of glass (white glass, grey glass, borofloat glass, duran, quartz, glass ceramic, k-glass)
